Bulb are tops for prepay.....

 Unbeatable prices.....Bulb are 15% cheaper than every other major supplier

Bulb's tariff for conventional key/card prepay meters is unbeatable value for money. Bulb charge their prepay customers 15% less than every other major supplier. 

This means that a typical household using 3,100kWh electricity and 12,000 kWh gas per year would save nearly £200 per year by switching to Bulb......a saving of 15%. If you then add in the £50 bonus for switching using a referral code, such as the one provided by this site, the saving in the first year would be nearly £250....that's 20% off your energy bill. If your household uses more energy than this, your savings would be even greater.

If you're on smart prepay meters, you can save even more by switching to Bulb. Because smart prepay meters aren't designed to be compatible with another supplier, they will automatically switch themselves into 'credit' mode. This means that instead of you needing to top up the meter periodically, you would set up a monthly direct debit mandate that pays the same amount every month throughout the year. The meter itself will no longer be "smart" and so you would be asked to provide monthly meter readings, which can be entered online using the Bulb app or website. The only thing to bear in mind when signing up is that in answer to the question "How do you pay for your electricity/gas" you need to click on "Pay by monthly direct debit" as this is the type of account that needs to be set up.

Once you have signed up, everything is then taken care of by Bulb.....they will inform your old supplier and ensure the switch goes ahead smoothly. The only thing you have to do is make sure that your meter is still in credit on the day the switch goes through, otherwise your supplier might reject the switchover.

Paying by monthly direct debit?

Bulb offer fantastic value for those on monthly accounts too......

If you're on a credit meter account and pay by monthly direct debit, then Bulb offer great value for money.
